Rollei Chrome CR 200 120
Attention: this film has an emulsion coated onto a transparent synthetic layer. It is therefore advisable to load and unload the film in subdued light. The exposed films are also best kept in a box that shields them from light (even when they are sent to the lab).
Rollei Chrome CR 200 is a color slide film which is somewhat similar to the discontinued Agfa RSX II 200 slide film since it also features a rather warm color temperature.
In contrary to most other color slide films, CR 200 is not a daylight balanced color slide film but delivers warm, rich colors rather with subtle contrasts. The grain structure is clearly present (certainly the case with the 35mm version) and gives the film its own, unique character. CR 200 has a nominal film sensitivity of ISO 200 and should be rated accordingly. It delivers best results when used in daylight.
CR 200 must be developed in the standard E6 process. When cross developed (C-41 process), the film yields images with a green tint, for those expecting something different.
