Amaloco AM 6006 VariMax is a neutral tone paper developer for any type of black-and-white variable contrast photographic paper.
Ilford Multigrade RC and many other variable contrast papers require a suitable paper developer to achieve maximum blacks, avoid stains and discoloration and not disturb the gradation build-up through the gradation filters. Therefore, Amaloco introduced AM 6006 VariMax, a paper developer for scale, drum and small machine processing.
AM 6006 VariMax is based on Phenidone-Hydrochinone and has a low pH value and a large buffer capacity to develop prints with equal maximum density, coverage and gradation over a long period of time.
