Pack de trois films Kodak UltraMax 400 avec 36 poses chacun.
Kodak UltraMax 400 is a 35mm medium-speed color negative film that offers an outstanding combination of color saturation, fine grain, and high sharpness. The film emulsion is equal to Kodak GOLD but features a higher nominal film speed of ISO 400 with a slightly clearer grain.
It is designed for general picture-taking situations in daylight or inside with or without electronic flash. It also features wide exposure latitude—from two stops underexposure to three stops overexposure.
It is similar to the Color Plus film of Kodak (especially the grain structure) but features smoother (skin) tones and more flexible exposure options.
I started shooting with Kodak Ultramax 400 while confinement because of the SARS-CoV-II pandemic. A few weeks ago a became my negatives and my prints back from the photolab. I tested it on ISO 200 and ISO 400.
I can't recommend to shoot it on ISO 200, it gives reddish skin tones.
It's really intended to shoot on ISO 400, and there it's really perfect. It gives you beautiful coulours (and good skin tones as well).
To conclude, Kodak Ultramax 400 is relatively cheap, it's versatile, and gives you nice colours and in my opinion a nice grain (not too big but still present). I think it's my new favorite 35mm colour film! :)
