Write first reviewFOMAPAN 400 Action is a panchromatically sensitized, black-and-white negative film designed for taking photographs in unfavourable lightning conditions. FOMAPAN 400 is the fastest black-and-white film in the FOMPAN series and is suitable for low-light photography or fast action. The film combines a classic grain with a high resolving power, good contour sharpness and a wide range of halftones.
FOMAPAN 400 Action has a nominal film speed of ISO 400/27°C, but due to its wide exposure latitude the film also gives good results when overexposed by 1 EV (exposure value) (as ISO 200/24°C) or underexposed by 2 EV (as ISO 1600/33°C) without any change in processing, i.e. without lengthening the development time or increasing the temperature of the developer used.
