One of my favorite B&W Films
Since the first time I've shot Ilford HP5 Plus 400, I liked the results. But after the first time I pushed this film by 1 stop, for me it was there why I completely felt in love with this film stock. ASA 800 (push +1) or ASA 1600 (push +2) is for me the sweet spot of this film. I love love the contrast and the overall look with the grain that gives me HP5 when being pushed. All around, even on box speed it's beautiful, but by being pushed it's for me just gorgeous. And what's nice, is that HP5 is really flexible, so you can also shoot it at 200 if you have too much light. For me it's the film that rules it all, and in addition it's made by an european manufacturer, which is a nice bonus. :)
