Fujifilm Superia Venus 800 is a 35mm colour negative film with a nominal film speed of ISO 800 that is only available in Japan and whose production has been discontinued. Venus 800 delivers results similar to the Superia X-tra 800 and Natura 1600 films of Fujifilm, which have also been taken out of production.
Despite the lower rated film speed, the Venus 800's dynamic range is similar to Natura 1600 and also provides a finer, discreet grain and slightly higher resolution. The color range is similar to that of the Superia X-tra 800, neutral yet vibrant. The colours of Venus 800 are less saturated and are tailored to ordinary daylight. When shooting under artificial light the colours tend to get a little warmer.
