Write first reviewThe Kinetronics SpeckGrabber is a small tool that helps you removing individual particles of dust and dirt from sensitive surfaces without damaging them or leaving any residues on them. This tool that looks like a pen, has a tip with high adhesive strength, which is brought into contact with the particles. With this tool you pick the dust particles one by one from the surface. The SpeckGrabber is an extremely useful tool when some dust or dirt particles are sticked to the surface and cannot simply be blown away with an aerosol can or be wiped away with a cloth without leaving scratches on the surface, like on a film negative.
This dust removing technique is used for removing particles from camera mirrors, lenses, oculars, film negatives, slides and other sensitive surfaces.
The tip can be cleaned with cleaning solutions, water or soap solutions without this having any impact on its adhesive strength. Be careful to never touch the tip of the SpeckGrabber with your hands as it will drastically reduce the adhesive features of the tool!
