Write first reviewThe Ilford Obscura is an entry-level pinhole camera and a great way to discover the magic of one of the oldest and most authentic forms of photography.
The Obscura is precision cut and shaped from expanded PVC. The camera consists of two interlocking parts - the photographic medium is loaded into the lower part and held in place by sliding the upper part, which is held in place by magnets.
Designed for 4x5-inch film or photographic paper, the Obscura has a focal length of 87mm for a wide field of view. Exposure is controlled by a magnetically-locked shutter on the front of the camera, which can be positioned in either direction, allowing right- or left-handed use. The base of the camera features a tripod mount.
