The Jobo film developing tanks from the modular 2500 tank system are made of a high quality, chemically resistant plastic and are, depending on the model, suitable for the development of 35mm film, roll film and sheet film. The 2500-series developing tanks are aimed at (semi-)professional use and are mainly suitable for automated rotation development with a Jobo Film Processor. Nevertheless, the tanks can also be used for manual inversion development.
This Jobo 2540 Multi Tank 1 film developing tank is designed for the most economical development of 35mm film and is mainly aimed at the rapid development of test strips and test shots.
The Multi Tank 1 developing tank is compatible with one 2502 tank reel for the development of one 35mm film. This reel is not supplied as standard and is available separately. The standard red tank lid for inversion development is included in the package. The familiar and reliable lid seals the tank effectively and easily, which ensures clean (inversion) development of film without leaks. When the tank is used for inversion development by hand, the tank needs to be filled with only 170ml of photochemistry, making it the most economical way to develop one 35mm film. For rotation development with a compatible Jobo processor, the tank also needs only 170ml of photochemistry to get the job done. In that case, the tank does need a cog (#1505) to attach it to the processor lift. This accessory is not included and is available separately.
