Negative Supply 4x5" Film Scanning Kit Acrylic (Sheet Film Holder + Pro Mount MK2)
The 4x5" Scanning Kit from Negative Supply includes the Film Holder for 4x5" Sheet Film and the Pro Mount MK2 for added stability and precision. Complete, high-end scanning unit for camera scanning sheet films. Additional light source is needed like the Basic or Pro Light Source from Negative Supply or the Slimlite from Kaiser. 4x5" Sheet Film Holder
Scanning 4x5 inch sheet film has always been time consuming with flatbed scanners and very expensive with drum scanning options. The 4x5" Film Holder from Negative Supply is a game changer by offering film photographers an easier way to work that’s straightforward and allows nearly instant results by using a digital camera for capture.
The Sheet Film Holder fits with ease onto the Pro Mount MK1/MK2 and comes with one sheet of micro etched acrylic glass (one to use and one extra for future replacement) to put your sheet film on for scans of the highest quality. Keep in mind that while the micro-etched surface of the acrylic is durable, you should treat it as you would film negatives. Carefully brushing away dust with a microfiber cloth or anti-static brush, but never pressing down into the surface.
Alternatively, you can even use the holder to scan with full borders on single frames of 120, 35mm, and even other uncommon types of film like 110.

Pro Mount MK2
The Negative Supply Pro Mount MK2 is designed to partner seamlessly with the Sheet Film Holder, Film Carrier MK1 35mm Film Carrier 120. The Pro Mount MK2 offers added stability, precision, and dust removal capabilities to the scanning system. 35mm and 120 adapter plates are sold separately.
Keeping the original dimensions for platform and insert compatibility, the new Pro Mount MK2 combines an extremely strong anodized aluminum plate reinforced by fiber composite polymer hardware.
Stability
The 35mm and 120 Film Carrier safely and easily attaches to the Pro Mount MK2, and the Mount offers added weight and widens the footprint of the unit, adding stability to the scanning process. While the Film Carriers are still stable without the Pro Mount, this ensures even greater stability and control.
Precision
The Pro Mount MK2 is a precisely designed device featuring leveling feet to guarantee a level plane for scanning. The bottoms of the leveling feet also feature small anti-slip feet for added stability and precision.
Dust removal
The most exciting feature on the Pro Mount MK2 saves you a tremendous amount of time and frustration in post production. Every Pro Mount MK1 includes an anti-static brush that securely attaches to the Mount, coming in line with the film gate of the Film Carrier. Most dust and unwanted debris will be automatically removed from your film before scanning, saving you time and energy. Includes 120 brush.
