Polaroid Image/Spectra-series
Polaroid is perhaps best known for that iconic square instant photo, but a few other formats have been introduced over the years. The Spectra Image film is a widescreen version of this classic instant film that is only compatible with the cameras that bear the same name. The format was also picked up by Polaroid Originals, a color and black-and-white film was brought on the market. At the end of 2019, however, the film was taken out of production due to persistent technical problems. Unlike the classic Polaroid 600 and SX-70 cameras, most Spectra and Image cameras have not stood the test of time.
