The film exhibits a nominal sensitivity of ISO 400/27° which makes it usable in a variety of lightning conditions and can even be effectively pushed up to ISO 1600/33° when needed. The specific characteristics of APX 400 make the film especially suited for photography in low-light conditions and to capture fast-moving subjects.
Standard development in black and white chemistry yields a fine grain texture with high resolution and tonal latitude.
