Write first reviewThe PMK formula was founded by Gordon Hutchings in order to create another new universal film developer, adapted to a wide range of modern black-and-white films.
Bergger PMK is manufactured in Germany under the original PMK formula upon Bergger's request with original Bergger chemicals.
Bergger PMK has the following characteristics:
- High acutance and border sharpness;
- Yellow staining, depending on the quantity of developed silver (acts as a local contrast mask);
- Very few fog;
- Long shelf live of the two stock solutions;
- Consistent process.
The PMK film developer should be used with an alkaline fixer in order to get the best yellow staining and the best stability.
PMK comes in two parts (A+B) that can be stored endless as long as they are not mixed and the bottels haven't been opened.
When using the standard dilution (1+2+100), 25 liters of working solution can be made.
