Compard acetic acid 60% is a classic stop bath for films and paper. The stop bath stops the development process and prevents alkaline developing agents from transferring into the fixer. Acetic acid has the advantage of longer life compared to citric acid but is not for the sensitive nose. Dilution 1 + 19.
