Ilford Bromophen is an economical, phenidone/hydroquinone powder paper developer with a long shelf life. Suitable for dish/tray developing, this developer works with all black-and-white RC-based and FB-based photographic papers yet is especially recommended for fiber-based papers.
Bromophen it is made into a stock solution that is diluted 1+3 for use and delivers a slightly warm image tone with most papers. It is particularly recommended for dish/tray developing Ilford Multigrade Warmtone RC and FB papers or Fomatone MG Classic papers to get the warmest image tone.
