Sleek collector’s edition: Both the film cartridge and the outer packaging feature a striking, all-black ‘stealth’ design. A must-have for enthusiasts and collectors. More transparent film base: For the first time, Ilford has coated a 35mm black-and-white film onto a brighter, more transparent film base, combined with an advanced anti-halation layer.
Optimised for scanning: As the base is clearer and has less base haze (D-min), scanners and digital camera set-ups do not have to work as hard to combat a ‘milky’ or grey base. This results in stunning, sharper scans with cleaner shadows and a superb dynamic range.
Fewer halos: The anti-halation layer effectively prevents light from being reflected back through the film, ensuring super-crisp highlights and no distracting glow around bright light sources.
Familiar performance and workflow: Under the hood, you’re still using the renowned Core-Shell crystal technology. The film still has a flexible sensitivity of ISO 400 (usable from iso 200 to 3200) and requires exactly the same development times as the standard Delta 400. So you don’t need to change a thing about your trusted darkroom routine.
