The tank lid of the Jobo Expert and 3000-series developing drums is fitted onto the tank using a friction-fit closure system which ensures a leak-free development. Since the tank doesn't use a sliding-ring closure system, it can sometimes be difficult to open the drum by hand.
The Jobo 3360 Foot Pump eases the opening of the drum by building up air pressure inside the drum so the lid jumps off. An essential tool if you're using an Expert or 3000-drum frequently!
