Kodak films are now available both through distributor Kodak Alaris and directly from the manufacturer, Kodak Eastman. These are the exact same films, sometimes sold under a different name. Since we can offer Kodak Eastman films at a lower price, they will eventually replace the Kodak Alaris versions. This Ektapan 100 is identical to T-MAX 100.
The Kodak Eastman Ektapan 100 4x5" sheet film is a modern panchromatic black-and-white negative film designed for photographers who require extreme sharpness, ultra-fine grain, and high resolving power. Utilizing Kodak’s advanced T-GRAIN emulsion technology, which uses flat, tabular silver halide crystals, this nominal ISO 100 film maximizes light efficiency to deliver exceptional edge sharpness and smooth, virtually grain-free enlargements.
Its neutral tonal response, clean highlights, and high resolving power make it an outstanding choice for detailed landscape, architectural, portrait, and fine-art photography.
