Write the first reviewKodak films are now available both through distributor Kodak Alaris and directly from the manufacturer, Kodak Eastman. These are the exact same films, sometimes sold under a different name. Since we can offer Kodak Eastman films at a lower price, they will eventually replace the Kodak Alaris versions.
Kodak Eastman UltraMax 400 is a highly versatile, consumer-grade 35mm color negative film engineered for everyday photography under diverse and unpredictable lighting conditions. Rated at a high nominal sensitivity of ISO 400, this emulsion delivers rich color saturation, bright primary tones, and remarkable picture clarity whether shooting in bright sunlight, overcast outdoor environments, or low-light handheld conditions.
Designed with Kodak's advanced color science, UltraMax 400 produces warm, natural skin tones and consistent color fidelity with fine grain and crisp image sharpness. Its wide exposure latitude ensures forgiving results even with minor exposure variations, making it ideal for street photography, travel memories, action shots, and casual family portraits. Developed using standard C-41 color chemistry.
