Write the first reviewOptiColour 200 is a brand-new film emulsion developed and coated by the German company InovisCoat. Under the bonnet, this film shares its DNA with the well-known Wolfen NC200 emulsion. The great thing is that it is available straight away in both 120 medium format and classic 35mm 35mm format.
What makes this film truly unique within the NC series (and sets it apart from its bigger brothers, the NC400 and NC500) is its vibrant and balanced character. You can count on strikingly natural colours, powerful contrast, gorgeous skin tones and a superb rendering of green and red hues in particular. In addition, the film has a traditional orange base. That’s good news for digitisation, as it makes the film much easier and more consistent to scan in the lab. A fantastic new option, then, for analogue photographers looking for a fresh, distinctive look!
