The Black Magic Photo Gelatine from Rollei functions as a primer to improve the adhesive qualities on smooth surfaces and as an isolator on metallic finishes when using liquid photo emulsions.

This purified photo gelatin is thus to be used as pre-coat when the liquid emulsion is being applied on rather absorbent materials. For improved mechanical resistance it is advised to also add a few drops of the RMB5 Hardener to the working solution of the photo gelatin.
