Write the first reviewThe Valoi easy precision framing helicoid is made for the The easy systems (easy35 (v2) and easy120) and allows you to frame the image with 20mm of stepless adjustments. This allows for a precise framing adjustment that can optimize the aesthetics and resolution of the scan.
The helicoid screws onto the distance tubes that come with the easy35 and easy120. Add it between your lens and the tubes, adjust, lock and just start scanning.
In some cases, you might find it useful to adjust your framing with more precision in comparison with the standard tubes that come with the easy-systems. Typically, adjusting framing using the smallest tube is sufficient, but in some applications it might be beneficial to adjust, not in increments, but steplessly to get precise framing. It also provides additional benefits such as maximizing your resolution by avoiding cropping in post processing or to achieve a certain aesthetic framing without having to crop in post processing.
The helicoid can be adjusted with a smooth and tight action to your desired length. Once you have found the exact right length, two thumb screws let you lock the length in place. This avoids movement in the helicoid, ensuring your frame stays in focus.
