Write the first reviewKodacolor 100 is indeed known for its warm, nostalgic character that many analogue photographers love so much.
Because this film has a low sensitivity (ISO 100), it is the perfect partner for a sunny day.
Fine grain: Because the film is less sensitive to light, the silver halide crystals are smaller. This results in a very smooth image, ideal for enlargements.
Sharpness: The high resolution ensures that textures (such as skin or architecture) are captured with razor-sharp clarity.
Saturation: Kodacolor is known for its rich red and yellow tones, which enhance that typical ‘Golden Hour’ look.Although the film has a ‘wide exposure range’ (it can take a beating if you're a stop off), it works best with this approach.
Exposure advice:
Bright sunlight: Perfect. The film retains detail in the highlights without them ‘blowing out’.
Shadows: Thanks to the good shadow detail, the image remains deep, but be careful not to underexpose too much.
Indoors: Use a flash or a tripod; without extra light, ISO 100 quickly becomes too grainy or blurred indoors.
